Tenants v Landlords

Bedfont dominated possession for the best part of the first half hour, Kyle deputising for the injured Alex made one outstanding save during this period. Although Bedfont had a better percentage of possession in the first half, CB had the better of the chances with the Bedfont Keeper making some fine saves including a great save from a Nick Hardy free kick ( See Pic). The keeper was unable to stop Gavin Bamford opening the scoring with a close range header to put CB 1 up.

HT 1-0

The second half started pretty even until Nick Hardy returning from injury put CB 2-0 up going through 1 on 1 with the keeper. Nick missed an easier chance to put CB 3-0 up and shortly after Bedfont's towering substitute got one back from a Bedfont corner CB were hoping the miss wasn't going to come back and bite us. It wasn't long though before our nerves were calmed, when the in form Jordan Vidal stepped up to calmly slot home his 1st and CB's 3rd of the day. Jordan got his 2nd cutting in from the right hand side and smashing the ball home giving the Bedfont keeper no chance. Although possession was pretty even during the 2nd half, CB again had the better chances in front of goal and made the most of them.

FT 4-1

Its been a good 1st half of the season for CB but we are keeping our feet firmly on the ground as their is long way to go. Our aim was to get as close to promotion as possible and the target hasn't changed. Their are some very string sides in Division 1 this season, Bedfont & Feltham are definitely one of them. If we finish one place behind them we stand a good chance of promotion.
