CB went to Cobham FC looking forward to getting back in action after so long out with all the postponed games. CB started with real intent and an excellent tempo creating some good early opportunities, what we didn't realise was this was going to set the tone for the game.
Against the early run of play Cobham FC took the lead with a simple ball over the top and a neat finish. CB controlled the first half creating numerous chances but only finding the net once through a deflected shot from Heshan Kaoud. I don't think either team would have complained had CB come off 5-1 up at half time, as it was the first half ended 1-1.
Cobham FC came out for the second half looking far more organised and compact, they missed an excellent early chance to take the lead early in the second half but the shot thankfully went to straight at Rui Goncalves. The game was pretty even for most of the second half with CB creating a handful of chances, the final 15 minutes we looked a little vulnerable as we pressed for the win but neither side could grab the full 3 points.
Good luck to Cobham FC for the rest of the season.
