U18 Elite opening game of this season

CB Hounslow Elite U18s Vs Cove

The boys started with confidence & pushed the ball around the pitch well, high level of possession & showed excellent desire to win the ball back with Harvey Lal & Ben Israel showing why they was chosen to playing in as CDM’s .
The chances come& went to get on the score sheet, however, we didn’t take them until substitute Oliver Wright broke into the box & with a delightful chip scored a super goal on 40 minutes.

Second half started well, with much of the possession, although Cove pushed on to get the equaliser via us not closing the ball down quickly enough & a mishandled half save we conceded, fitness started to show throughout.
Cove worked harder & seemed to get more aggressive with their direct long ball play, although the back 4 stood strong & we absorbed much of pressure well, until Cove had a long range strike which we conceded another 1-2 to Cove.
The boys passed well and put pressure on the Cove players with at least 3 VERY decent chances not converted inside the six yard box. A very unlucky hard working performance from the CB Players.
