Gavin comes with over 20 years playing experience in Non-League football. Gavin’s first managerial role was at Bedfont Sports where he guided them to promotion from Combined Counties Division 1 to the Premier League. Last season Gavin was at the helm with Staines Lammas where they finished a respectable 8th position in his first season.
Gavins previous clubs: Uxbridge FC, Wealdstone FC, Beaconsfield FC, Ashford Town FC, Chertsey Town FC.

“ What’s going on at CB is very exciting. Frank (Club Chairman) seems to be laying the foundations for the club to really move forward, with the introduction of the u18s and u23s their really seems to be a platform to build a home grown first team. I have seen the plans for the youth section from the mini kickers program to the u18s. CB really caters for all levels from social football to semi professional football.

I worked with Barry at Bedfont, where he was part of my backroom staff during our successful promotion campaign. Barry has always been a keen student of the game and has had a huge interest in non-league football for many years, that twinned with the experience he has gained over the last few years working in the professional game, is I’m sure, why Frank has given him the opportunity to take the reins of the CB first team.

Being part of the first team staff and not the manager allows me to continue to pull on the boots a few more times when called upon. I know my playing career is edging towards the end at this level and CB is a local club, that I hope I can pass on my experience in any way, to help them push on to where they want to be”
